Our Story

We are a family owned and operated business. You can find Julie designing and creating romantic garden inspired florals while her husband Sixto can be found processing flowers and fulfilling Julie’s next floral project during his downtime. Julie’s love for floral design began as a high school FFA member in the small town of Tulare, CA. Although Emerald Grace floral design specializes in weddings and events, we find so much joy in fulfilling those everyday arrangements for our clients. We like to think of ourselves as the florist that will see you through all of life’s milestones and everyday in between!

Emerald Grace Floral Design was established in September of 2018. Julie found herself craving a creative outlet after having their first son-Ethan. Sixto is a locomotive engineer who loves the Dodgers and a good burger and beer, Julie on the other hand can be found with a coffee in hand and searching for the perfect dark chocolate. The Ortiz Family is blessed with two small boys, Ethan and Jacob, who both love dinosaurs, trucks and climbing tractors.
